Hanoi Arrival
On arrival at Hanoi’s Noi Bai International airport, you will be greeted by our guide and transferred downtown. In the afternoon, visit Tran Quoc Pagoda nearby West Lake, next stop is Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple and shopping at Hanoi Old Quarter. Enjoy water puppet show. Accommodation at hotel in Hanoi.
Hanoi City Tour – Halong Bay
After breakfast, visit Ho Chi Minh Memorial Complex and Ba Dinh Square. Visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (outside) which contains the embalmed body of Ho Chi Minh (closed Mondays, Fridays and from 15 June to 15 August); and Ho Chi Minh’s Stilt House where Ho Chi Minh lived from 1958 until his final days in 1969. Preserved in the same condition as during his life, it may be viewed through the windows. Continue to the miniature 11th century One Pillar Pagoda which was rebuilt after being destroyed by the French in 1954, and then to the Temple of Literature with its walled courtyards and graceful gateways. Founded in 1070 and dedicated to Confucius, this was also the site of Vietnam’s first university. In the afternoon, you will travel to Halong Bay, was awarded by UNESCO as a natural heritage in 1994. This three-hour drive will show you the diversity of the North Vietnam villages and rice fields along the journey. Accommodation at hotel in Halong.
Halong Bay – Hanoi
This morning, you will board our boat for a four-hour cruise of this stunning area, stopping along the way to visit one of the most beautiful grottoes in Halong, Paradise Grotto (Thien Cung Grotto) which has thousands of stalactites, stalagmites shaping a marvelously natural palace. We keep cruising to see
many lime stone islands and islets which dotted around the bay including: Dinh Huong islet, Ga Choi islet, … Seafood lunch will be served on boat (vegetarian option available). Back to Hanoi in the afternoon. Accommodation at hotel in Hanoi.
